The St Just and Land's End Area Chamber of Commerce started life as the St Just Area Traders Association and was formed in response to the large Regeneration Project carried out by Cornwall County Council. We presently have around eighty members comprising business people representing most sectors of the local economy and attract new members every year.

Everyone in business or interested in networking with the local business community is eligible to join, so long as you are based west of the B3311 Penzance/St Ives road. Members have found the cross-business support to be very helpful, and on a lighter note we take part (even winning sometimes) in inter Chamber quiz nights with other local Chambers of Commerce.

For a minimal membership fee of £12 a year:

• you are entitled to attend our monthly meetings where we enjoy presentations from guest speakers (for example we have had speakers from Hayle Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Small Businesses, Penwith District Council, Cornwall County Council and others)
• you will also have a page on our website www.landsendchamber.co.uk with links to your own website if you have one and which you can update yourself
• you will be part of the largest organised group of business people in this area and as such have ready access to advice and more of a voice when faced with the challenges that crop up from time to time
• we have a large number of accommodation providers in the Chamber and they are all entitled to advertise on our website and through our member businesses regardless of their grading status.

We are right in the middle of the newly designated World Heritage Mining Coast and as such are bound to be affected by some changes, even if it is simply a welcome increase in visitor numbers. We are pleased to be actively helping to ensure the potential changes are to our benefit as well as that of our communities, and providing support by networking and liaising with the appropriate bodies.
